creator's history

Creator was Sheffield's first boutique hair salon. Opened in November 1991 it offered clients an opportunity to have a great hair cut in an environment that was unique. This element of 'WANTING TO BE DIFFERENT' is why we have maintained our standing as one of the countries leading hair salons.

CREATOR has always prided itself on having a team of highly professional and creative individuals that challenge the perception of 'what fashion is'. Our levels of service and firsts are endless from our complimentary scalp massage, full drinks menu including the world's 10 favourite cocktails which started in 1998, to our personnel DVDs in our colour area and most recently the opening of the Cocktail Lounge-an area for clients to relax, watch a film and enjoy a drink.

Our mission was and will always be to give clients a hair cut that 'Works For Them' one which is individual and personalized to their needs.

We have under gone many changes over the last 18 years, with 7 refits and expanding from a salon with 10 units to the 32 we have now and yet we still have 2 of our original team members with us. This shows the commitment that we have to the people that dedicate their creativity to Creator.

At Creator it's all about the experience both for our clients and our team.
